We have worked on assignments where financial data has been gathered for many years, yet no analysis had been carried out to distinguish the most profitable activity from the loss making. Our intervention focused attention on the most profitable clients and services, and identified the bottom tier of clients for which pricing increases were required to return to a worthwhile relationship.

Similarly, we have been engaged to determine insights from 5+ years of asset failure data. Our initial analysis indicated where failure rates were higher than would be expected given the usage of the equipment, and was used to highlight where further intervention was called for. The analysis was used to predict future performance and remaining life before the equipment needed replacing, and underpinned a much wider asset management strategy.
